HubSpot AI agents pricing under the new model
HubSpot AI agents pricing on the new model is per unit of work, paid in credits: the customer agent uses 50 credits per resolved text conversation, the prospecting agent 100 credits per lead and the data agent 10 credits per prompt per record. At €0.010 per extra credit, 1,000 customer agent resolutions use 50,000 credits, worth €500 (our calculation). Several agents are in beta, and beta rates may change.
Agents are one part of HubSpot's new pricing model for new customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Rates and prices below come from HubSpot's Flexible Seats-and-Credits Pricing supplement, as published on 2 October 2026.
Agents run on credits
Each unit of work an agent does uses a set number of credits from the rate sheet. Those credits come from the same monthly allowance as email sends and workflow actions, so agents compete with everything else for your included credits.
HubSpot AI agents pricing, agent by agent
| Agent | Unit | Credits | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Customer agent | One resolved text conversation | 50 | Available |
| Customer agent | One voice minute | 50 | Beta |
| Prospecting agent | One lead | 100 | Available |
| Data agent | One prompt per record | 10 | Available |
| Content agent | One unit | 1,000 | Beta |
| Revenue agent | One invoice | 500 | Beta |
| Nurture agent | One email | 10 | Beta |
| Knowledge base agent | One article | 200 | Beta |
| Custom and Work agents | One action unit | 1 | Beta |
A Breeze workflow action, which is separate from the agents above, uses 10 credits.
The beta caveat
HubSpot says beta rates may change, and beta features may or may not consume credits. Treat any estimate based on a beta agent as provisional.
What credits cost
- Each edition includes credits every month: 5,000 on Starter, 10,000 on Professional and 15,000 on Enterprise.
- Extra credits cost €0.010 each, through capacity packs (1,000 credits for €10) or pay-as-you-go overage.
- Credits reset monthly and don't roll over.
Included credits are shared with everything else that uses credits, such as email and workflow actions.
Agents packs
| Pack | Credits / month | Price / month |
|---|---|---|
| Base | 2,500 | €25 |
| Growth | 40,000 | €400 |
| Scaled | 150,000 | €1,500 |
Agents packs are available on all paid editions. By our calculation, they cost €0.010 per credit, the same as capacity packs and pay-as-you-go. So they give no per-credit saving. They're a convenient way to buy a larger block. See HubSpot capacity packs compared.
Usage above a pack consumes credits at rate-sheet prices.
Worked example: 1,000 customer agent resolutions
Say your customer agent resolves 1,000 text conversations a month.
- 1,000 resolutions × 50 credits = 50,000 credits (our calculation).
- At €0.010 per credit, that's worth €500.
How you might cover it on Professional (our calculation, assuming nothing else uses your included credits):
| Option | What you buy | Monthly cost |
|---|---|---|
| Capacity packs | 10,000 included + 40 packs | €400 |
| Agents Growth pack | 40,000 credits + 10,000 included | €400 |
| No included credits used | 50,000 credits at €0.010 | €500 |
In practice your included credits will also be paying for emails and workflow actions, so you may need more. HubSpot hasn't confirmed the order in which packs, included credits and purchased credits are used. Our calculator assumes packs first, then included credits, then purchased credits; that's our reading.
On Enterprise, with 15,000 included credits and email and workflows covered by their own packs, the same 1,000 resolutions leave 35,000 credits to buy: 35 capacity packs, or €350 a month (our calculation).
More agent examples
These are our calculations from the rate sheet, before included credits:
- Prospecting agent, 100 leads a month: 100 × 100 = 10,000 credits, worth €100. That's the whole of Professional's included allowance.
- Data agent, 1,000 records a month: 1,000 × 10 = 10,000 credits, also worth €100.
- Knowledge base agent (beta), 10 articles: 10 × 200 = 2,000 credits.
- Customer agent on Starter, 100 resolutions: 100 × 50 = 5,000 credits, which is all of Starter's included credits.
The last example matters for small teams. A modest amount of agent use can exhaust a Starter allowance, leaving nothing for email. If you haven't bought extra credits, credit-using features then pause.
Budgeting a pilot
If you want to try an agent before committing, the Base agents pack is a small, fixed step: 2,500 credits a month for €25. By our calculation, that covers 50 customer agent resolutions, 25 prospecting agent leads or 250 data agent prompts per record. It costs the same per credit as capacity packs, so its value is the clear budget line rather than a discount. Run the pilot for a full month, count the units the agent actually used, and size your packs from that.
Watch the pause rule
If you haven't bought any extra credits and your included credits run out, credit-using features pause. For a customer-facing agent, a pause mid-month could matter. Overage billing only applies after a first purchase of extra credits.
Two ways to stay in control:
- Set a monthly credit limit and watch the alerts at 75%, 85% and 90% usage.
- Buy capacity in advance if an agent is business-critical, so it doesn't stop when included credits run out.
More in how to keep credit spend under control.
Estimating your agent usage
- Pick the agents you'll actually use. Start with the ones that aren't in beta if you need firm numbers.
- Estimate monthly units: resolved conversations, leads, prompts per record, invoices.
- Multiply by the credit rate.
- Add your other credit use, especially email and workflow actions. See HubSpot Credits explained.
- Subtract included credits and price the shortfall at €0.010 per credit.
Questions to settle before switching an agent on
- What counts as a unit? For the customer agent it's a resolved text conversation; for the data agent, one prompt per record. Know which unit you're estimating.
- Is it in beta? If so, the rate may change, and HubSpot says beta features may or may not consume credits.
- What happens if credits run out? Decide whether a pause or overage is the lesser problem for that agent.
- Who watches the alerts? Name someone before launch, not after the first overage.
