HubSpot Pricing 2026: What It Actually Costs
Why HubSpot pricing is confusing
HubSpot's pricing depends on four things: which Hubs you subscribe to, which tier you choose (Starter, Professional, or Enterprise), how many seats you need, and, for Marketing Hub, how many contacts you'll market to.
That's a lot of variables. And the pricing page doesn't make it easy to figure out what you'll actually pay.
This guide breaks it all down in plain English. Or if you'd rather skip the reading, use our free calculator and get a personalised estimate in about two minutes.
The six Hubs
HubSpot's platform is split into six products. You can buy them individually or as a bundle:
- Marketing Hub for email campaigns, automation, landing pages, lead capture, and analytics
- Sales Hub for deal pipelines, email sequences, meeting scheduling, and forecasting
- Service Hub for help desk, ticketing, live chat, and knowledge base
- Content Hub for website building, blogging, and CMS (formerly CMS Hub)
- Data Hub for data sync, cleaning, and automation (formerly Operations Hub)
- Commerce Hub for payments, invoices, and quotes
Most businesses need two or three of these, not all six. The calculator helps you figure out which ones are relevant.
The three tiers
Each Hub comes in three paid tiers, plus a free version:
Starter is the entry point. Affordable per-seat pricing, essential features, no annual commitment, and no onboarding fee. Good for small teams getting started.
Professional is where HubSpot becomes a serious business platform. Workflow automation, custom reporting, A/B testing, and advanced tools. Requires an annual commitment and a mandatory onboarding fee. The price jump from Starter is steep, typically 10 to 15 times more.
Enterprise is built for large organisations with complex needs. Advanced governance, predictive analytics, custom objects, and multi-team management. Requires annual upfront payment and higher onboarding fees.
What each Hub costs (approximate USD, monthly billing)
Marketing Hub: Starter ~$20/mo | Professional ~$890/mo | Enterprise ~$3,600/mo. Marketing Hub also charges based on marketing contact volume, which can push the price up significantly.
Sales Hub: Starter ~$20/seat/mo | Professional ~$100/seat/mo | Enterprise ~$150/seat/mo.
Service Hub: Starter ~$20/seat/mo | Professional ~$100/seat/mo | Enterprise ~$150/seat/mo.
Content Hub: Starter ~$20/seat/mo | Professional ~$500/mo | Enterprise ~$1,500/mo.
Data Hub: Starter ~$20/seat/mo | Professional ~$800/mo | Enterprise ~$2,000/mo.
Commerce Hub: No monthly fee. Professional and Enterprise features unlock through other Hub subscriptions.
All prices are approximate USD figures. HubSpot prices differently in GBP, EUR, and AUD, sometimes significantly. The calculator gives you exact numbers in your currency.

How seats affect your price
HubSpot uses three seat types:
Paid seats (Sales seats, Service seats, etc.) unlock the full feature set of that Hub. These are for people actively using the specialist tools: your sales reps, support agents, and marketers.
Core seats give general CRM access without specialist features. These are for team members who need to view and edit data but don't need the full Hub capabilities.
View-only seats are free and unlimited. For stakeholders who need visibility but don't need to edit anything.
Here's the detail that catches people out: core seats are priced at the rate of your highest-tier Hub. So if you have Sales Hub Professional and Marketing Hub Enterprise, all core seats cost the Enterprise rate.
For a full breakdown of every seat type and how to map your team, see our complete guide to HubSpot seats.
How marketing contacts affect your price
Marketing Hub is the only Hub that charges based on contact volume. You pay for "marketing contacts," the people you actively send marketing emails to or include in ad audiences.
Each tier includes a base allocation: Starter includes 1,000, Professional includes 2,000, Enterprise includes 10,000. Go over the limit and HubSpot auto-upgrades your tier instantly and irreversibly until renewal.
This is one of the most common sources of unexpected HubSpot costs. Read our deep dive on Marketing Hub pricing for strategies to avoid overspending.
Onboarding fees
Professional and Enterprise plans carry mandatory one-time onboarding fees ranging from $1,500 to $7,000 per Hub. These stack if you're subscribing to multiple Hubs.
The only way to waive these fees is to buy through a certified HubSpot Solutions Partner, who handles your implementation instead. See our full breakdown of onboarding fees.
Annual vs monthly billing
Starter plans offer month-to-month billing. Professional and Enterprise plans require an annual commitment, either paid monthly or upfront. Paying upfront for the year typically saves 10 to 25%.
Downgrades only take effect at renewal, and features built on higher tiers may break when you step down. Plan your tier carefully. It's much easier to upgrade than to downgrade.
The bundle option
HubSpot offers the Customer Platform bundle, which includes all Hubs at a given tier. The Starter bundle at ~$20 per seat is exceptional value. The Professional bundle can save money if you need three or more Hubs at Professional level. See our bundle pricing guide for the full breakdown.
What the pricing page doesn't tell you
There are several costs that aren't obvious from HubSpot's pricing page: onboarding fees, contact auto-upgrades, core seat pricing tied to your highest Hub, add-on costs for things like custom reporting and API limits, and auto-renewal terms. We've written a complete guide to these hidden costs.

Frequently asked questions
How much does HubSpot cost per month in 2026?
It depends on your setup. Starter plans start at around $15 to $20 per seat per month. Professional plans range from $500 to $890 per month depending on the Hub. Enterprise starts at $1,500 to $3,600 per month. Most growing businesses pay between $100 and $2,000 per month.
Is HubSpot free to use?
Yes. HubSpot offers a free CRM with contact management, deal tracking, email, forms, and live chat. The free tier supports up to 2 users and 1,000,000 contacts. Paid features like automation, sequences, and custom reporting require a Starter or Professional subscription.
Does HubSpot charge per user or per account?
Both, depending on the Hub and tier. Starter plans charge per seat with no minimum. Professional and Enterprise plans have a base price that includes a set number of seats, with additional seats charged on top. The exact structure varies by Hub.
Can I pay for HubSpot monthly?
Starter plans can be billed monthly with no annual commitment. Professional and Enterprise plans require an annual commitment, though you can choose to pay that commitment in monthly instalments or upfront for the year. Paying upfront saves 10 to 25%.
What currencies does HubSpot support?
HubSpot bills in seven currencies including USD, GBP, EUR, and AUD. Prices vary between currencies and are not simply converted at the exchange rate. Each currency has its own pricing structure set by HubSpot.
