HubSpot Bundle Pricing: Is the Customer Platform Worth It?

    7 min read

What the Customer Platform bundle is

HubSpot sells its Hubs individually, but also offers a bundled package called the Customer Platform (formerly CRM Suite). This bundles all Hubs together, Marketing, Sales, Service, Content, Data, and Commerce, at a discount compared to buying them separately.

The idea is simple: if you need multiple Hubs, the bundle should be cheaper than adding them one by one.

For individual Hub pricing, see our main HubSpot pricing guide.

    What the bundle costs

Starter Customer Platform: Approximately $15 to $20 per seat per month. This gives you Starter-level access to every Hub. It's a genuine bargain if you want the basics of everything (CRM, email marketing, deal tracking, ticketing, website tools, and data sync) without committing to Professional tiers.

Professional Customer Platform: Approximately $1,200 to $1,400 per month (varies by seat count). Includes Professional-level access to all Hubs with a base allocation of seats and marketing contacts. Mandatory onboarding fees apply and can be substantial when stacked across Hubs.

Enterprise Customer Platform: Roughly $4,000 to $5,000+ per month. Enterprise access across all Hubs with higher seat allocations and contact limits.

    When bundling saves money

The maths works in your favour when you genuinely need three or more Hubs at the same tier level.

For example: if you'd buy Marketing Hub Professional ($890 per month), Sales Hub Professional ($450+ per month), and Service Hub Professional ($450+ per month) separately, the total exceeds $1,700 per month. The Professional Customer Platform bundles all of these plus Content, Data, and Commerce for less.

At Starter, the bundle is almost always worth it. Paying $20 per seat for access to every Hub is cheaper than buying even two Starter Hubs separately.

    When buying individually is smarter

You only need one or two Hubs. If you need Marketing Hub Professional and Sales Hub Starter, buying them individually is cheaper than the Professional bundle, which would charge you Professional pricing for Hubs you'd only use at Starter level. See what HubSpot costs for a small business for worked examples of individual Hub setups.

You need different tiers for different Hubs. The bundle prices all Hubs at the same tier. If you need Marketing Hub Professional but only Sales Hub Starter, the bundle forces you to overpay for the Hubs where Starter would suffice.

You're not sure what you need yet. Starting with one Hub and adding others as your needs become clear is often smarter than committing to the full bundle upfront. You can always bundle later.

    The seat pricing wrinkle

Remember: in a bundle, core seats are priced at the rate of your highest-tier Hub. If the bundle is at Professional, all your core seats are Professional-priced. This matters when you start adding team members who only need basic CRM access.

Read our complete guide to HubSpot seats for the full explanation of how this rule works.

    Frequently asked questions

Is it cheaper to bundle HubSpot Hubs?

It depends on how many Hubs you need. The Starter Customer Platform bundle at $15 to $20 per seat is almost always cheaper than buying individual Starter Hubs. At Professional level, bundling saves money if you need three or more Hubs at the same tier. If you only need one or two Hubs, buying individually is usually cheaper.

What is included in the HubSpot Customer Platform?

The Customer Platform bundles all six Hubs together: Marketing, Sales, Service, Content, Data, and Commerce. At each tier (Starter, Professional, Enterprise), you get access to the corresponding tier of every Hub at a discounted rate compared to purchasing them individually.

Can I mix different Hub tiers in a bundle?

No. The Customer Platform bundle prices all Hubs at the same tier. If you need Marketing Hub Professional but only Sales Hub Starter, buying them individually is cheaper because the bundle would force you to pay Professional pricing for all Hubs.
